Our Home at SEU
I thought I would dedicate a blog to Southeastern University's campus since it is the only home Ben has ever had and the only home Ali has ever known. We have had a great three years here so far - though there are pros & cons to living on a campus with your family. It is a beautiful backdrop for some pictures I took of the kids recently. Here is a mini tour of a few places we travel daily.
This is the entrance to the cafeteria. Until Ali turned 3, Dan took her on luch dates with him a couple times a week.
This is the building we live in... Aventura. Also where each of us lived at one time or another as a student. We are very blessed to have such a nice home tucked inside this building.
When you open our front door, this is what you see... which is the side of the before mentioned cafeteria.
Keep walking straight and this is what you will find.

This is the courtyard between the two buildings Dan and I lived in when we first met. The red building is also where Ali's best friend lives.
This is where I spent 3 of my 4 college years... Bethany Hall. GREAT memories... never thought I'd be back here with TWO kids!
Some of the walk ways between different buildings on campus

This is looking at the old cafeteria building which is being remodeled for classrooms.
The wagon is our main form of transportation these days. Whether we are headed to the pool or just down the side walks, you'll find us pulling this little blonde headed blue eyed heart stopper in the little red wagon.

This is the Divine Servant Fountain that Ali loves to get her hands in whenever we pass.

This is Bush Chapel - a lot of memories here for Dan and I as well.

This is the butterfly garden which is named Alison's Garden. I couldn't help but get Ali's pic by it. The plants grown in the garden attract butterflies which is fun to watch.

When we are off to mail a letter or check our mailbox, this is usually the route we travel. Also, where we hop on the elevator to say hi to Aunt Melissa who works here.

Bark does NOT taste good!
Fountain outside my old dorm room and cafeteria - also where Ali loves to get wet.
This is actually right outside our front door too.
Ben is very attached to his wagon.
This is the back side of our library. I had to include it because we spend a lot of time there too. They have a children's education room with tons of kid books. And if you know Alison, then you know what a bookworm she is. We also check out a ton of cd & dvd's from there.

The only thing left worth mentioning is the pool, gym, and ball fields where we let the kids burn their energy. I didn't get any pics of them this day, but I'm sure as the summer progresses, you'll see several if you haven't already.
