Enjoying October

I love Ben's face looking at the pumpkin guts.

Our finished pumpkin named Thomas Jack.... not sure why, just what Ali wanted.

Then we had our traditional pumpkin treat after all our (really Dan's) hard work carving. Usuallly I make pumpkin bread, but this year Ali and I made pumpkin cookies with homemade cream cheese icing...yum. I saved the pumpkin seeds this year and roasted them for the first time. It was worth cleaning them off. I liked them a lot- seasoned with pumpkin pie spices.

Then we let each paint a mid size pumpkin they picked out.
