Weekend Away

This weekend Dan and I were invited to speak at a couples retreat in St. Augustine, FL. So, we packed up the kids and took them to Mia's for a Thursday through Sunday (afternoon) sleepover. We thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend away. I wish I had taken more pics of the beach and down town St. Augustine. The beaches on the east coast always seem more dramatic to me.

Then we returned to find two very ill children waiting on us. So pitiful, look at those faces. Turns out they only had colds, but what a toll it took on their little bodies. Ali burst the blood vessels in the whites of her eyes due to the horrendous cough she had.

They spent most of the next 3 days in my arms or in a palette together.
