Batty!

The kids were gifted this book last year, and it quickly became a favorite. Much like the bats, my kids adore the library and all the wonder it can hold. A very fun & friendly story. (Thanks Beebs!)

Along with the book were some cut out bats that you could personalize with your own favorite book. I kept some of the cut out bats to do this month since they have been seeing bats around and about....And we have been learning about nocturnal animals this month.

We decided to hang them from the fan (so they could fly) and upside down reading. Each of us picked our favorite book for our own bat. Mine is called 'Too Many Pumpkins'... my all time favorite children's book. Ali's is a 'Mermaid Princess Book'... I only wish you could see the inside of the book where she & I drew illustrations. Ben's is a book all about balls. He and I drew several, mostly basketballs (with net).
