Our Little Pumpkin Patch

I have had an idea to do a visual countdown to Ella's birth for the kids for a couple of months now. I thought since it is October, we should use a pumpkin chain. So off to the library to use the Ellison machine... and luckily I had some velvety green yarn for the vines on hand.

It started out as just a countdown to Ella's birthday, but then I decided to do the entire month of October... since they were looking forward to a couple of other events as well.

They are trick or treating the day before Halloween at a community event called Hallapolooza.
