Carnation Color... A Science Experiment

I think she thought the color would start showing up immediately.

But we all had to wait and wait

Ali hypothesized that this flower would be two-toned, I predicted it would be purple.

Blue & Orange... and yes, I put them together on purpose. Ben has been a bit obsessed with the Auburn Tigers since our visit to Alabama. I think I've had to wash his jersey three times this week!

Ali's Shamrock Green

The colors are much more vibrant in real life than through the eye of my camera and I think they will continue to gain color, but we wanted to document it before they started to droop. I tried to put one that had green on it, in the red to see if I could make a Christmas one, but it kind of turned purplish black...

This was a blast and will be a repeat project for B & E.
