My Baby Girl is 3!
Happy St. Patricks Day! I can't believe it has been three years since Ali was born. Here she is at church this morning. She doesn't officially turn three until Monday, 17th (St. Patricks Day), but we've been celebrating for a couple of days. Saturday she wanted to take her best friend Nolan, to see Dr. Seus' 'Horton Hears a Who'. It was cute & they had a lot of fun togther. Today we celebrated with Dan's parents, Charlie, & Melissa. I asked her if she could have anything she wanted on a cake what would it be and she said Kermit the Frog of all things... so funny, because we aren't big muppet fans... Anyway, her birthday wish was to HELP me MAKE the cake - so I had to figure out how to make a Kermit out of icing... yikes.... well, look below to see how it turned out. She gave me the thumbs up of approval on it, even though she really isn't hard to please!
This was one of Ali's gifts from Grammy & Pap! They were so cute with their matching trikes!

Kermit looks great! (better than I expected - sorry I didn't have faith in your icing abilities). I remember holding Ali in the hospital when she was only a few days old. I can't believe that's been 3 years already! BTW - is your hair cut that short or is it pulled back? Either way, looks cute. Love you
Wow! You are pretty awesome with your icing abilities! I am sure that if I were to draw kermit, it would look like Kermit's drunk uncle.
Thanks to everyone who helped make Ali's day special. She has carried her stack of cards around for three days 'reading' them. Thanks for the Kermit compliments too! I'm available if any of your children ever desire him on a cake! :) And Rach, I wanted to change my hair and now it is really short...so easy!
