Pump It Up

Today we met Mia, Dan's mom, and took the kids to Pump It Up. It has just opened and we wanted to see how it measured up to Backyard Adventures. It was practically the same thing except Backyard Adventures has arcade games, a few more jump house, and a toddler area for Ben's age group. Also, Backyard Adventures is .50 cheaper. So, I think we'll stick to B.A. It was still a very fun day. Later we went to the mall to grab lunch and do a little bit of shopping.

Student Life Retreat

We spent a few days in Daytona Beach, Florida on a retreat for Dan's job this week. It was loads of fun and we had a great time. The kids and I always enjoy tagging along for the mini vacation each year as do several of his coworkers wives with their kids. They are more like family than coworkers though. We are thankful for the community around us for sure. They provided childcare assistance for us as well, so many of 'the moms' were able to relax and spend some awesome time sipping good Dunkin Donuts coffee while chatting on the beach.
