January Happenings

Made a few jars of homemade vanilla... I use a lot of vanilla.

Learned a new ripple pattern. This dish rag is actually for a friend in Iowa. Plans to make a set in fun colors for myself are in the near future.

Found E in the dryer one afternoon. Then Ben joined her deciding he needed to protect the hideout... always with a gun lately.

We are enjoying a plethora of eggs, 2-5 a day.

Made the kids eat breakfast on the kitchen floor since I had decorated the dining room for a baby shower. I sweetened the deal by serving hot cocoa since it was a cold morning.

I got E to sit still long enough for me to braid her pigs. I may have promised her 2 mm's if she would let me.

One of our chickens (Prison Paul) is a stripe Dominique. I gathered a couple feathers for our nature box and they soon found there way into a several imaginative characters.
