Circle B and a 2 mile hike

As the temperature was close to 50 when we woke up this morning we decided to make the most of it and head out of doors for the day.

Circle B was an easy choice... it is one of our favorite places.

We even saw a gator this morning most likely NOT enjoying the cold near as much as us.

3 best friends in a wagon... mama heart swells...

Florida never disappoints when it comes to birds. They are exquisite, abundant, and always a variety for viewing pleasure.

This scene was a favorite of mine today... stopping to stare long. I think it will have to be printed and hung in our home from now own as to remember the swampy land we have lived in.

2 miles proved a bit much for Ben still and he joined Ella in the wagon... but I don't think she minded... preferring the company.

Then after our trail weary family emerged from the wilds we took a quick play time underground in a fox den.

This building captivates me. I simply love the simple look of it.

This is the same place, shot from the inside looking out. I can see a dining room table sitting in from of windows like this... or perhaps a school room/area....

My favorite room in the building.

It's Cold(ish) Outside

So we made HOT apple cider... usually we drink it cold.
Ah, but it was good to drink hot with the nippy weather out.

We headed out for an early morning walk.

Then to First Friday Nights downtown. (Every first Friday night of each month is a big town get together on Main Street)

A lot of live music and dancing!

Ben was hilarious dancing in the square. I envy that a bit.
