I Forget

... how much I want time to slow

...until I look at them this way, these four

... all the moments that fly fast

...are gifts I couldn't - I didn't - imagine

...but were given, just the same

I forget how much I love the fresh, alive, salty smells of the beach until I'm there

...and all of the sudden, gifts, gifts everywhere are popping open to my eyes

... outrageous how it changes me

...the moment I begin to truly see Him in everything

... and joy always follows {every time}

... and that is how time slows

... and I remember... giving thanks is the only way to be present.

Giving thanks for all of His gifts... here are a few from the shore yesterday

- tiny sandy toes

- how nice it is to plan a beach day on a whim

- tiny pony tails

- curiosity in creation {I love being a nerd}

- togetherness, family time away

- a new season beginning in Florida - SPRING

- sound of waves

- tropical smells

- kid smiles lasting all day

- fresh fruit {esp. Plant City strawberry's}

- sunshine coupled with cool breezes
- eyes opening to Him - a new habit
